Your eyes widened as you took in the scene, an entire dead doe sprawled across the small surface, a single lit candle on the table beside the corpse. The doe’s fawn was watching nearby, paralyzed with fear and unable to move. Alastor was grinning harder than ever, gesturing you to sit onto the chair across from him. You had always known that he was a cannibal and that he liked his venison fresh, but seeing it with your own eyes was something else. And he wanted you to eat it with him.
