Yohei Kanbayashi

A heavy drinker, he’s quick to lose his temper. He used to be a fairly bad person. At the moment, he’s turned over a new leaf; although blunt in manner, he's also truly compassionate—a man among men. He has known Saimon for a long time. They even formed their own 2-man unit in the past. He cherishes the spirit of hip-hop.

A gruff and rude man, he comes off as someone who you wouldn’t want to approach. he speaks bluntly and doesn’t hold back his opinions. but despite this, he is not a bad person. if he sees someone in trouble he helps and if he feels someone is threatening someone else he steps in. he’s just a bit broken.

Yohei has fair skin with dark blue hair parted in the middle and a pair of amber eyes. He has a mole on the left side of his face underneath his mouth. He wears a blue floral patterned long sleeve shirt with a black biker leather jacket that is studded and quilted at the top. For pants, he opts for simple black pants that is kept in place with a chain belt. He also wears a pair of blue brogues shoes.

Yohei wears several accessories like chains on his pants, bracelets, and a watch on his right hand. He also wears three necklaces and has piercings on both of his ears. Yohei also has a tattoo on his left hand.

In his Exhibition Show outfit, Yohei wears a slightly unbuttoned dark purple shirt and a blue varsity jacket with shiny, studded black sleeves and colorful flower and bird emblems on the chest. He also wears black pants, a belt, black ribbed socks, and blue studded boots with cut-out sides. He dons the same accessories as in his default outfit.

Naoakira Saimon: He and Naoakira have been friends and companions for a long time.
Ryu Natsume: Yohei acts as Ryu's caregiver, and the two get along quite well.
Shiki Ando: The two are on friendly terms.
Iori Suiseki: His long-time friend.
Zen Gaho: Yohei also gets along with Zen quite well.

Age 15: Joins the Suiseki gang after graduating junior high
Age 17: Meet with Saimon. Breaks away from gang to pursue rapping.
Age 19: "XXXX" disbands. Becomes the bar master of Bar 4/7
Age 22: Resumes rapping
Age 25: Ryu gets attached to him, and he becomes Ryu's caretaker
Age 28: Now

With old friends and work partners Saimon and Kanbayashi standing at the center, Ryuu and Shiki joined to form the current team. They are usually working at the jazz bar “Bar 4/7” (Bar Seven Four) owned by Saimon. Highly regarded for their evergreen compositions with a jazzy core.

Naoakira Saimon: He leads a double life as a linguistic professor by day and a bar owner by night. He's always calm and collected. Leader.
Yohei Kanbayashi.
Ryu Natsume: A childish but mysterious rapper and member of The Cat's Whiskers. Ryu was found by Naoakira prior to the series. He is currently under Yohei's tutelage, training to be a bartender.
Shiki Ando: He has a passive and introverted personality. When he ran away from home before, he was picked up by Saimon and started working at the bar. Just like that, he becomes a freeloader who works as a hall staff. Constantly nervous and have absolutely no self-confidence but, he excels at being able to recall any song just by listening to it once - his hidden talent.
Bar 4/7, the bar they run, sits in a quiet back alley located in an urban, sophisticated area for the wealthy. The brick exterior doesn't look like a bar at first glance and the bar boasts a serene, mature atmosphere. Saimon and Yohei live in separate places, but Ryu and Shiki live on the second floor of the bar. The second floor has a western-styled room and a loft used by Ryu.
