Deuce is tall and muscular, with green eyes that can turn people to stone (only for a few hours), which is why he wears glasses. His hair is scaly and green, and on top of his head are a bunch of snakes, forming a crest. He also has green scales on his bicep, though it is unclear if it is part of his skin or an added tattoo.

Personality:Deuce Gorgon is kind, outgoing, and very confident, making him one of the most popular monsters at Monster High. He loves sports and is one of the captains of the basketball team. He also loves cooking, but tries to keep it a secret. He is very loyal to his girlfriend Cleo de Nile and tolerates a lot of her bad behavior with patience and grace.

Origin:Deuce is the son of Medusa, a figure from classical Greek mythology, and most likely influenced by the 1981 film Clash of the Titans and its 2010 remake of the same name.
In the mythological tale, Medusa was transformed into a terrible monster by Athena. Her beautiful hair was turned into snakes, and anyone who looked into her eyes was turned to stone. In later versions of the story, Medusa also has two sisters, Stheno and Euryale, who were also changed into monsters. In some versions this was because she tried to defend her sister and got caught in the spell, in other accounts, she begged Athena to "make Medusa as beautiful as she once was" while Athena was still very angry.
In Clash of the Titans, the warrior Perseus has to kill the Kraken, so he wants to use Medusa's gaze to turn it to stone. However, this requires killing her. Perseus travels to the Isle of the Dead and kills its guardian, a two-headed dog (the possible inspiration for Deuce's pet rat). Perseus decapitates Medusa.
Master Ray Harryhausen's 1981 film is famous for its stop-motion animation.

Appearance
Cleo de Nile possesses black and brown hair with fringed bangs, which is commonly enhanced with gold highlights, though she also chooses blue, teal, and/or purple as additional colors. Her hair is mostly adorned with a gold headband with sky blue jewels. She prefers her hair to be long and loose, but does not hesitate to change it up for a shoulder-length bob. Sometimes, her hair is tied back in a ponytail when it is long. She has tan skin and blue eyes, always surrounded by thick, black winged eyeliner, and wears a gem on her right cheek that is blue in most of her outfits (it was red on Scaris). She also has golden dangling earrings. While Cleo can be creative with her appearance, there is one fashion rule she cannot break: she must always have at least one piece of burial wrapping on so as not to disappear into the dust. Fortunately for her, she is allowed to apply burial wrapping in whatever way suits her best. Sometimes, she wears a full bodysuit with limb warmers made from the material. At other times, the burial wrappings are combined into a simple waist wrap that is easily forgotten among the rest of the look. In "Scares, Camera, Action", however, no wrap is seen. Cleo's standard colors for dressing are shades of yellow, including gold, which is her favorite color, and anything in the blue to teal range. She has also experimented with purple and red, but those are limited to specific time periods. Though not shy about dressing up, Cleo prefers to don a pair of pants, usually as part of the aforementioned bodysuit. As part of an Ancient Egyptian Royal Family, Cleo commonly wears large gems in her appearance, as well as scarabs, lotuses, snakes, and triangles (Egyptian pyramids).

Personality
Cleo is extremely "real" so she expects everyone to treat her as such.
