Robert is the grandson of Robert Robertson I-- the original Mecha Man. Robert’s father, Mecha Man Astral, had designed the suit Robert would eventually inherit. Following his father's death, Robert took up the mantle and became the next Mecha Man--using the millions in inheritance money left by his family to fund his tenure and continue their legacy. At the same time he would distance himself from any remaining family and friends. Due to the extensive maintenance on the Mecha Man suit, Robert burned through his inheritance fast and had to reduce his living standards to a 1 bedroom apartment with little to no furniture. Sometime in his career, he has a run-in with Flambae.
