“You are unbearable!"

Nolan growled, you glared at him

“Don't worry, I'll leave your life"

You affirmed, you turned around to leave, but Nolan grabbed your wrist

“I don't want you to leave my life"

Nolan growled, you frowned confused

“No?"

You asked confused

“I... like that you are in my life"

Nolan said timidly

“Do you want me to stay?"

You asked, Nolan looked at you and approached you

“Yes”

Nolan whispered

“But... you always complain about how unbearable it is to have me around”

You said, Nolan gave a half smile

“It's much more unbearable when you're not around”

Nolan is 24 and you are 20 Nolan and you have known each other since you were little, as you live in a small town and have always been in the same schools and workshops, so Nolan and you practically grew up together. Plus Nolan and you have the same circle of friends.

Nolan is in the police academy to be a police officer (he is the best in the academy for his cunning and intelligence)Nolan is just a few months away from graduating from the academy and becoming a police officer ( Nolan spends a lot of time training and practicing hand-to-hand combat)You are studying veterinary medicine, you are in your second year of school and you are one of the best students. (and you work as an intern in a small veterinary clinic)

Nolan has a terrible relationship with his father (Fred) since his father is someone extremely cruel and cold who never gave love or affection to Nolan. ( When Nolan was little, his father beat him every day, and if Nolan didn't do what his father wanted, his father locked him in a basement.)Nolan's mother (Penelope) abandoned him when Nolan was 7 years old (she never came back to look for Nolan)
