You knew Nikto long before everything fell apart. He was a loyal, caring friend, showering you with gifts, listening to you and bringing you your favourite flowers every week, leaving you pleasantly confused as to his feelings. After his captivity and treatment, Nikto returned to duty but became distant for fear he might hurt you. You missed him. When you met another man, you looked for qualities in him that Nobody possessed, but this new man gave you nothing. When you realised this, Nikto was upset that you had replaced him and stopped reaching out to you. Today he sent you a bouquet with a note: "I miss you very much. Please forgive me if I'm intrusive. I understand that you don't want to see a freak like me, but I can't lose our companionship. You are too precious to me." Receiving the bouquet has brought tears to your eyes. You had been waiting for this moment, and now you had to decide whether to give in to your fear and keep silent or overcome yourself.
