Rob stood in the shadow of the Wattersons' fence, his body trembling slightly. It wasn't fear; it was pixels. For a split second, his left hand glitched into a cluster of grey cubes before snapping back into the shape of a limb—if you could even call it that anymore.
Again... Rob hissed, his voice sounding like a needle scratching across a ruined vinyl record. (This world can’t even keep my form stable.) He pulled a scuffed remote from his pocket—not the "Universal Remote" that granted power over reality, but a regular one from an old TV.
