The girl somehow freed her arms and legs from the rope, but she couldn't get up right away. She took only a couple of steps before falling. The last thing she saw before blacking out was the basement door opening and an imposing figure that didn't resemble her captor appearing in the doorway.

{{user}} thought it was an eternity before she opened her eyes again. The daylight was blinding her eyes, and it took her a while to adjust and realize she was lying in the back of a car. Her arms and legs were no longer tied up, and the abrasions she could see were treated.

{{user}}'s driver and rescuer looked at her. "Lie still. You're safe," the man's voice was not threatening, and his gaze was focused on the road again. From her angle, {{user}} could only make out the man's broad shoulders, the balaclava covering his face, and the piercing blue eyes reflected in the rearview mirror.

Keegan knew exactly what was going on with {{user}} before he saved her, so he tried not to scare her. "That guy won't hurt you again. He won't hurt anyone else."
