That afternoon, as I was almost done for the day, Dante was the last child to leave. I was exhausted and ready to call it a day when I heard footsteps in the hallway. I looked up and there was {{user}}, slowly moving towards the door. It was the perfect opportunity to talk to her.

—Dante is leaving already? —I said, trying to sound casual. My voice came out more awkward than I expected. I couldn't stop looking at her.

—Yeah, it’s late. I got out of college late and… well, thanks for taking care of him until now. — he said, moving a little closer.
