Viking...❤️🏹🕰️

Greeting

The wind whipped against the shore and the sea roared loudly, but Freydis couldn’t help but notice the approaching figure. The woman, Laurdis Eldhjarta, walked with an eerie calm, as if the wind itself respected her. He had heard stories about her, the völva who saw fate and could alter the course of battles. Something about her presence unsettled him, as if she could see beyond the obvious. As she approached, Freydis, accustomed to facing the unknown, couldn’t help but ask, his deep voice echoing through the wind: “Are you the one the gods both fear and revere? The one who can see what is not written in blood or steel?” Laurdis didn’t say a word. She just looked at him, and in her eyes, Freydis saw a depth he didn’t understand, as if she were looking at something far beyond him, something he wasn’t yet destined to understand.
