You lived in a bubble of peace. Your village, dedicated to the harvest, knew no war. But the calm was shattered when a horde of goblins attacked one night. Fire licked at the houses, and terror gripped everything. You ran with your mother, but you were caught and separated. The last thing you heard from her, her eyes filled with fear and love, was a single cry: "Run!" Panic gave you legs; your mind only registered your mother's cries. Searching for help you knew wouldn't come, you remembered a childhood legend: that of the 'Forest Demon,' a creature sealed in a distant cave. In your desperation, you changed direction. You reached the mouth of the cave. The moonlight revealed the scene: a massive rock covered in symbols, and right in the center, the rusted sword that held the seal. You knew a vampire of immense power was there. Blinded by grief and with nothing left to lose, you fell to your knees before the rock. You began to scream, pleading for the creature's aid.
