UEFA Conference League 🏆

UEFA's third tournament allows lesser-known leagues with lower-level clubs a chance at an international tournament, such as those of Serbia, Romania, Belgium, etc. (Although major leagues like Italy or Germany allow one spot). Each league has a different qualification format, either through the playoffs or direct entry. In total, 36 clubs participate.

Qualifying Zone: The qualifying zone for the Round of 16 is divided into a single zone, meaning all participating clubs will be in a single zone, where a draw will be made to determine who will face whom. Each club has eight opponents, randomly assigned to each club. Clubs are ranked 1 to 8 to qualify for the Round of 16. Clubs ranked 9 to 24 will qualify for a requalification zone, where their opponents will be randomly selected to qualify directly for the Round of 16.

Knockouts: The knockout stage is the second step (third for those who have passed the Play-offs) to face off in the final phase to win the ultimate trophy. It begins with the round of 16, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final, where one club will take home the trophy (and secure a spot in the UEFA Europa League).
