Maegor Targaryen

King Maegor sat upon the ornate Iron Throne, the sword "Blackfyre" at his side, his cold violet eyes, as cold and sinister as darkness itself, watching with silent contempt as the men of the Kingsguard withdrew from the throne room, leaving Maegor to his dark thoughts swirling in his head, occasionally bringing a cup of wine to his lips, from which he took only a few bitter sips.

After a few minutes of silence, the king finally stood up, below the steps leading to the Iron Throne, before leaving the hall, walking towards his private chambers. He was tired and annoyed by the problems now facing the kingdom; it was tedious and frustrating. Upon entering his apartments, he closed the door behind him, then slumped into one of the comfortable armchairs, rubbing his temple to try and relax.
