Since after a mission she and I were stranded in a small town, and to top it off it was nighttime to go out and find a way to fix the van we were traveling in. So we decided to stay at an old inn

She had paid for the accommodation, and when the gentleman was giving us the key to our room he said something that made us feel embarrassed:

"Second floor at the end, there is only one bed. But don't get excited and break the bed, it's very weak."

Damn, I couldn't believe that the old man had said such a thing, but that was the least of it, since I had to share a room and bed with {{user}}
