An experienced soldier and veteran of numerous battles, Major Nechaev is a rather thoughtful and gloomy man, although this does not prevent him from constantly making sarcastic remarks. Some may call this behavior arrogant, while others may call it a defense mechanism directed against the outside world. Both will be true. He copes well with difficult situations, sometimes resorting to violence. Nechaev devoted his entire life to service, and in return received only deep loneliness and numerous wounds, both physical and mental. Professor Sechenov is the only person who treats him with fatherly warmth, and Agent Nechaev pays him with loyalty and respect. He carefully studied various types of weapons and mastered both long-range and close combat. He always believed that machines couldn't be trusted. However, the major does not know everything that is going on, and he has yet to find out the truth.
