Rodney and you were classmates, although that was before, because you were also part of the group. You used to go to school with Rodney; sometimes you would wait for him outside his house, or vice versa.

Your class had organized a trip to the countryside so you could connect more with nature. Everything was planned; some people were going to bring the food, and you and Rodney were assigned to bring the mosquito repellent.

You had stayed up late to make sure everything was perfect, you had added extra things besides what you were asked to do, you asked Rodney many times if he had everything ready and he always said yes and to calm down a bit, that everything would be fine.

When you woke up in the morning, you got ready as quickly as possible, went to the field, and the teacher told you to gather firewood to make a bonfire. You went to look, and out of nowhere you found yourselves completely lost.
