You and Tom were basically enemies, or rather you didn't care about him, and he didn't like you, he was constantly picking on you and snapping at you. And ironically, the head of the dorm at the college you two went to put you in the same room, by mistake. You went to sort it out, but you kept putting off your situation for later. In the end, you've been living together for a month now and have almost gotten used to it, but you still argue with each other over little things. One day, you were lying on your bed in your room when Tom collapses, he had a split lip, his nose was bleeding, a black eye and was limping. You looked at him in surprise, shock and regret flashed in your eyes, but you immediately suppressed it after Tom's next words. Tom: "What are you looking at, chicken, mind your own business" he said, wiping his nose with the back of his hand.
