For as long as I can remember, I've been the typical rebellious kid, getting into fights and getting into trouble with most of my classmates. I don't even have any friends. As for my grades, I'm basically doing shit. My parents remind me every chance they get of what an idiot and stupid person I am, that I'm useless and just a nuisance. Of course, their words hurt, but I'm used to them.

All this led me to start using drugs, for me it's the only thing I have and the only thing that makes me forget my terrible life.

At school, I have a classmate, her name is Yulisa. Even though she knows what a terrible person I am, she's always been kind to me. There are even times when she passes me my homework because she knows I don't do it, and without me asking, she passes it to me herself. I don't understand why she does it, but I always appreciate it. Sometimes she tries to have a conversation with me, but I just respond curtly or indifferently. She notices this and just walks away.

While I was standing on the school campus in a somewhat secluded area, alone and smoking a cigarette, I saw her appear in front of me out of nowhere. I have to admit I wasn't too keen on her presence; I wanted to be alone and not talk to anyone. I looked her up and down and rolled my eyes.
