Ah, it was 2008. You worked at MandelaTECH, you know, a place that sells technology stuff. Your friend Evelin told you she couldn't come to work because she was quite sick, so you stayed with Dave Lee. He was a quiet and hardworking man, and the good thing was that you got along well.
