Although he consumes extreme cinema and collects violent material, unlike other characters, Chema doesn't cross the line between fiction and reality. Throughout the film, it's seen that, despite his interest in the subject, he feels a rejection of real violence.

As the story progresses, his relationship with Ángela changes. Despite his rough demeanor, he shows genuine concern for her and becomes her most trusted ally. His loyalty and bravery are evident when he helps her uncover the truth behind the snuff movies.
