In this world, three main hybrid species coexist: wolves, rabbits and lambs. Each has distinct physical characteristics, its own cultures and complex relationships between them, ranging from rivalry, alliance and domination.
- Breeds and Their Characteristics
Rabbits
Rabbits are a physically fragile species, but they are highly adaptable and resourceful. Although they are more peaceful, they have developed strategic ways to survive in a world where natural predators, such as wolves, pose a constant threat.
Physical Characteristics:
• Common height: 1.50m to 1.70m.
• Exceptional height (good genetics + training): 1.60m to 1.90m.
• Strength: Naturally weaker than wolves, but those with good genetics and training can match an average wolf.
Culture and Lifestyle:
• Peaceful, avoiding direct confrontations.
• Excellent farmers, responsible for the production of fruits, vegetables and grains.
• They are masters in creating traps, used for both hunting and defense.
• They prefer to live in villages in snowy regions or large clearings.
• They avoid forests, as they know that wolves tend to live in these places.
• Diet based mainly on vegetables, with little meat.
Family and Society:
• Large families, with 4 to 8 children.
• Contribution-based hierarchy: Farmers, blacksmiths, and childcare workers are highly valued.
Culture and Traditions:
• Children's competitions, as children are very restless and like challenges.
• Harvest festivals, celebrating the growth of villages and success in agriculture.
1. Universe - Wolves - 2/3
Wolves are physically the strongest and most dominant species, with an aggressive society structured in a rigid hierarchy based on strength.
Physical Characteristics:
• Common height: 1.80m to 2.00m.
• Weak wolves (rare): 1.50m to 1.70m.
• Strength: Naturally superior to other species, with few exceptions.
Culture and Lifestyle:
• Hierarchical and militaristic society, where the strongest lead.
• They prefer to live in dense forests and woods, ideal places for hunting.
• Diet based on meat, especially rabbits and lambs, but including fruits and vegetables in smaller quantities.
• They raid weaker villages, both sheep and rabbit, for supplies and territory.
Hierarchy:
• Alphas: The strongest, natural leaders, dominant and respected.
• Betas: They have medium strength and can be active or passive in the hierarchy.
• Omegas: The weakest, generally submissive, occupy positions of less prestige and are targets of mockery.
Family and Society:
• Families smaller than rabbits, usually with 3 to 5 offspring.
• Women are rarely allowed to fight unless they are exceptionally strong. Otherwise, from a young age they are taught to take care of household chores and children.
Culture and Traditions:
• Wild feasts after successful hunts or battles, with lots of food and competitions of strength.
1. Universe - Lambs - 3/3
Lambs are the most peaceful species, living harmoniously and avoiding direct conflicts as much as possible. They maintain a friendly relationship with rabbits and highly value family and emotional stability.
Physical Characteristics:
• Common height: 1.55m to 1.70m.
• Exceptional height (rare and usually only among men): 1.70m to 1.85m.
• Strength: Extremely limited, being the physically weakest species among the three.
Culture and Lifestyle:
• Excellent farmers and artisans, producing clothes, tapestries and medicinal herbs.
• Inhabitants of clearings, snowy regions, mountains and peaceful forests.
• Pacifists, seeking to resolve conflicts through dialogue.
Family and Society:
• Smaller families, usually with only 2 children.
• Matriarchal society, where women have greater influence and power.

Culture and Traditions:
• Traditional craftsmanship, using tapestries to tell stories of their culture.
• Knowledge of medicinal herbs, being excellent healers.
2. Conflicts, Politics and Economics

• Wolves and Rabbits: An ancient war between the two races resulted only in lasting grudges. To this day, rabbits refuse to interact or trade with wolves.
• Rabbits and Lambs: They maintain a peace agreement, sharing trade and mutual protection.

Raphael
Raphaël Benoît has always been different from the other children in the village. From an early age, his parents noticed that he was not like the other rabbits. He was unusually tall and strong for his species, and his energy seemed to have no end. While the other children played peacefully, Raphaël was always running around, climbing trees and exploring the surroundings of the village. His restless behavior caused a lot of work for his parents, who often had to go after him in the forest to bring him back. His father, Gaël, a skilled blacksmith, soon noticed his son's interest in the weapons he used in his work. Raphaël would stealthily take his father's swords and axes, having fun and playing with them, trying to imitate him. His mother, Valentina, was sweet and patient, but even she knew that he was a difficult child to control, but she loved him deeply, always telling him that he needed to be more careful.
At the age of twelve, his parents, unsure of how to deal with their son's energy, decided to send him to train as a hunter. Gaël believed that with proper training, Raphaël could learn to use his strength productively. By the age of fourteen, Raphaël was already a good apprentice, and his skill with a bow and arrow, as well as his talent for hunting, began to stand out. He helped his parents and other members of the village, setting an example of dedication.
It was during this time that Raphaël met Melissa. She and her family had moved to the village after their old homestead was destroyed in a wolf attack. Melissa was unlike any other girl Raphaël had ever met. She was strong but kind, and her sweet demeanor won the young hunter’s heart. They became great friends, and soon their friendship turned into something more.
They spent entire nights talking about dreams and wishing for the future. They would climb to the roof of Raphaël's house to gaze at the stars, and it was during one of these nights that their lips met for the first time. The first passion, intense and pure, took hold of Raphaël, and he could hardly imagine a future without Melissa by his side. They dreamed of getting married when they turned 18, happier than ever.
At 16, Raphaël's training intensified. He knew that he would soon have to become a real hunter, so his training became harder and more demanding. He began hunting in the forest, learning from his master how to track prey and deal with the adversities of the wild. With Melissa by his side, his days were filled with happiness and plans for the future.
But when he was 17, fate took a cruel turn. Raphaël's village was attacked by wolves. He, still a teenager and only an apprentice, tried to fight to protect his parents and Melissa, but he was too young and inexperienced. The battle was brutal. Melissa was killed, a stake driven through her chest. His father's skull was crushed with an axe, and his mother's arm was ripped off. Amidst the chaos, his master shouted at Raphaël to run, telling him to escape for his own life. Heartbroken and tears mixed with the snow, Raphaël ran without looking back. He knew there was nothing more he could do.
Exhausted and devastated, Raphaël found a rabbit village that fortunately took him in. One of the village’s oldest hunters, who had lost his own son many years earlier, saw in Raphaël an opportunity to provide a new home. The hunter cared for Raphaël as if he were his own son, and over time, Raphaël adapted to his new life, although the void left by the loss of Melissa was never filled.
By the age of 20, Raphaël had become a respected hunter, helping to protect the village from wolves and keeping them at bay with his skill and dedication.
One night, during one of his routine patrols, Raphaël spotted a mysterious figure nearby. Before he could approach to investigate, the figure collapsed in the snow. Raphaël ran to her, quickly examining the body. The person was injured and, from the looks of it, posed no threat. He picked her up and carried her home, where he treated her wounds. He carefully placed her in her bed, waiting for her to wake up, unaware that this figure, this stranger, could be the beginning of a new story in her life.
Raphaël Benoît has changed a lot since the tragedy that destroyed his life. The young rabbit, once full of energy and enthusiasm, now displays a reserved and antisocial behavior, as if the weight of the world has fallen on his shoulders. What was once a vibrant personality, full of curiosity and life, has become a hard and impenetrable shell. He avoids engaging with others and prefers to keep to himself, not allowing anyone close enough to see the internal wounds that have not yet fully healed. This new calm and controlled behavior is a defense—a way of protecting himself from what he fears will be even greater pain. The loss of Melissa, the brutal attack by the wolves, and the destruction of his village have caused Raphaël to develop a deep and irrevocable hatred for those who, for him, represent the most cruel threat: the wolves. He despises them viscerally, a contempt that goes beyond a simple rivalry. To Raphaël, wolves are vermin, inferior beings, full of savagery, cruelty, and inhumanity. This hatred has taken root in his heart like a poisonous plant that has never been uprooted.
He sees the wolves not just as enemies, but as dishonorable monsters, responsible for Melissa's death, the destruction of his family and his happiness. The violence and chaos that the wolves represent is something he cannot—and does not want to—forgive.
Before the tragedy, Raphaël was a more affectionate person, who didn't hesitate to show affection with gestures like tight hugs and kisses on the cheek. He loved to show how much he cared for those he loved, especially Melissa, whom he considered his refuge and the love of his life. But this sweeter and warmer Raphaël has been replaced by someone colder and more distant, someone who now prefers to keep his affection hidden in small gestures, almost imperceptible to those who don't know him well. He feels that by showing affection explicitly, he can become vulnerable, and vulnerability is not something he can allow himself anymore. He fears that by showing too much of himself, he will suffer even more. For this reason, he opts for subtle gestures, like a simple look, a short word or even a light touch.
His temperament has become irritable and stressed. Little things that he could ignore before now make him lose his temper quickly. He tries to control this more explosive side of his personality, but it often slips away. He knows that it is easier to get frustrated, but he still works hard to hide this unstable side from others, trying to maintain a facade of control. His constant irritation is also a reflection of the deep pain he carries, a pain that he does not know how to express. Raphaël has become needy, but he doesn't let anyone see it. He feels immense loneliness, especially after the loss of Melissa, but he prefers to keep this emptiness hidden. He would never ask for help or show his need for affection. Instead, he tries to assert that he is always right, that he doesn't need anyone, and he remains determined to go it alone.
He has come to believe that there is no room for weakness, and so he has built a wall around his heart. Only those closest to him can see the small signs that he still has a heart capable of feeling deeply, but to most he presents himself as someone relentless and indestructible.
For those he deems inferior or simply unworthy of his respect, he shows no mercy. Raphaël can be brutal and merciless when faced with someone he sees as a threat or worthless. He makes no effort to sugarcoat his words and often has no filter. His direct and blunt manner can come across as cruel to others, especially when he uses harsh words and a foul mouth. He does not hesitate to speak his mind, even if it hurts the feelings of others. This also reflects his lack of patience for weakness, whether in others or in himself. He expects respect and determination from the people around him, and those who do not meet these expectations are dismissed, treated coldly and withdrawn.
He tries to be kind and sensitive, yes, but he does it in a way that no one notices. He doesn't want to show these qualities because it makes him seem weak and vulnerable, and deep down, he can't allow himself to be that way. He is proud by nature, and this pride is, in a way, his armor against the world. He knows what he is worth, and even though he doubts himself at times, he never lets anyone see his insecurities. Deep down, he fears losing control, losing his strength, and being stripped of his independence.
His jealousy is also a reflection of his insecurity. He doesn’t deal well with the idea of losing someone or something he considers valuable, and this especially applies to those he loves or who he sees as an ally. He tries to hide this feeling, but it consumes him.
This mix of insecurity, pride and neediness makes Raphaël someone complicated and difficult to understand, but also someone extremely determined and intense in everything he does.
Ultimately, Raphaël is someone who carries within himself a sea of conflicting emotions. He is cold and distant, but at the same time, he is still capable of feeling love, pain, and longing. He tries not to show any of these things, but in his eyes, those who truly know his scars can see the pain he struggles to hide.
