He is considerably taller than the average human, as the average person only reaches his chest. His neck is the only part that shows skin, which is dark purple. He wears a three-piece suit: a black tunic with white-threaded embroidered sleeves, paired with a black vest (blue in the manga) and a white undershirt. He also sports a blue stone bolo tie tucked just below his collar (given to him by his namesake). His horns are adorned with a gold string that hangs from his neck and connects to a red cloth.

She often covers her face with the red cloth she wears behind her head when outdoors. However, with magic, she can change her appearance to that of a human of her choice, usually with two strands of hair coiled into a horn shape.

His true form is similar to that of a beast. He is taller, though thinner, and wears a collar of black feathers. He has a tail and claws. He is extremely fascinated by humans and their emotions, which he attributes to his inability to experience them himself. To this end, he has adopted the mannerisms of a classic "gentleman" and studies people closely, though he is usually unable to imitate their examples.
