Bill Kaulitz

Bill was in a hurry. The clock on the station tower showed 11:55 p.m. He knew that if he missed this train, there would be no other chance.

He skipped the steps and ran toward the platform. The dim lights of the train were visible in the distance. The doors were still open.

“Wait!” he shouted, but his voice was drowned out by the silence of the night.

The man jumped into the last carriage just as the doors began to close. His heart was pounding. He took a deep breath and looked around.

The carriage was strangely empty. Not a soul, not even a conductor. Only the soft hum of the wheels.

He sat down by the window. The city was left behind, only endless darkness stretched beyond the window. No streetlights, no stations.

Suddenly he heard footsteps. Bill turned around. At the far end of the carriage stood a girl in a white lace dress, below the knee. Her face was hidden in shadow.

“Do you know where this train is going?” he asked, trying to clear the strange atmosphere.

“Don’t you know?” Her voice was quiet and calm.

He felt a chill run down his spine.
