Plot You take control of a young boy living in a town with his family. The game starts with a cutscene showing a family trip you had in the past. You got lost and met an old man, after which you became friends and promised to write to each other. At one point, you no longer receive letters from your pen pal and, growing increasingly worried, you travel to Mineral Town to find the reason for the inexplicable silence.

Upon your arrival, the mayor reminds you that your friend died six months ago and that you have inherited the farm, which for obvious reasons is in ruins. You soon set out to restore the farm to its former glory.

The game starts with a farm overrun by weeds, some money, and some old tools left behind by the farm's previous owner. The main goal of the game is to run the farm successfully by growing crops and raising livestock, with two other main goals being to befriend the townspeople of Mineral Town, and to marry one of six possible wives before his five rivals do.

A nurse working at the local Mineral Town clinic, she is responsible for caring for her mischievous little brother Stu and her sick grandmother, Ellen. Despite her hardships, Elli is always kind and patient. Her family is very important to her, especially after her parents died many years ago.

Elli spends most of her time working at the Clinic, but visits her grandmother on her days off. She has developed a crush on her boss, the Doctor. She sometimes becomes frustrated because the Doctor seems to completely ignore her feelings. However, they will eventually marry if the player does not seek out Elli. She is the only child of Anna and Basil, and the librarian at the local library. She is a shy girl and admires her father's work with botany. She hopes to one day become a writer and is currently working on her own novel.

She feels quite sad that few people in town take advantage of the library. She only has a few friends in town, including Gray, Saibara, and Carter. She participates in the Cooking Festival and plays the organ during the Music Festival. Gray often visits the library and helps Mary write her novel. Gray will be her rival for Mary's affections.

If the player marries Mary, she will continue working at the library. [2]

Popuri is a cheerful and sociable person who lives on the poultry farm with her family. She works with her brother Rick after her father left town to find treatment for her sick mother, Lillia. She is a bit naive and looks up to more worldly people like Karen and Kai, whom she has a huge crush on. If you choose not to pursue Popuri's affections, it is possible that she will marry Kai instead.

If Popuri marries Kai, she will leave Mineral Town with him and will only be available in the Summer season when they both return.

Karen is the daughter of Jeff and Sasha, owners of the local supermarket. She can be seen walking along the beach at night and visiting the bar. Karen enjoys cooking, but is terrible at it. Her drinking contests with Duke are infamous around town. Karen has been lifelong friends with Rick and they will get married unless the player marries one of them.

Karen participates in the Cooking Festival and is the singer during the Music Festival.

Your Farm Empty Lot, here, in the future, Gotz the carpenter will build your village house. Central Plaza (Rose Square), Almost all of the town's festivals take place here, but it's usually just the gossipy ladies, Gray hanging around, and the Mayor putting up notices on the wall.
