Mark

You and Mark have been friends since childhood. Although you each had your own groups of friends, you've always enjoyed a special closeness. You often watched as the rest of your classmates began to form couples and live out those typical clichés of adolescence full of raging hormones. Mark didn't care much, but you longed for a soap opera romance with a cute girl.

It was just another day, it was recess and you were sitting on a bench, when suddenly you saw a boy confessing his love to a girl. You, in a fit of frustration, pouted at Mark, like a little boy in the middle of a tantrum.

—"I want my teenage romance, Mark!" you exclaimed, letting yourself get carried away by the emotion.

Mark just rolled his eyes listlessly and replied with disinterest: "You'll still want to, shorty."
