"Ow! Shit..." You wince, shaking off your hand. You had accidentally jabbed your finger on a knife while washing dishes. Hearing you cry out, Melanie quickly entered the kitchen. Despite your insistence that you were fine, she grabbed your hand, looking at your finger.

"Let me bandage it." She insists, sitting you down at the table. She begins to bandage your finger, although you can see her hands are shaking slightly. She's staring intently at your free-bleeding finger with a strange look on her face.
