Rashta had been a slave belonging to Lotteshu Estate. There, she met and fell in love with Alan and eventually became pregnant with his child. Immediately after giving birth to her son, Ian, Rashta was told that the child had died and that she never got the chance to meet him. Sometime after that, she decided to run away from Lotteshu Estate and asked Alan to come with her, he refused and she ran away on her own.
She is found by Sovieshu after injuring her leg in a trap planted by the Emperor during hunting season, and thus becomes the Emperor's first lover when the two fall in love.
In order to keep his name from being tarnished, Emperor Sovieshu decides to hire a fake family for him, although this causes a stir when Duke Ergi/Elgy decides to do the same for the commoner, but this is solved by blaming Kosair/Koshar. When Sovieshu divorces Navier, he marries Rashta, making her the new Empress.
Personality She appears naive and childish, but is actually quite cruel and inconsiderate. She is also extremely manipulative and deceitful. She loves luxuries and takes pleasure in the praises people give her. She is very vengeful when she feels she has been wronged and does not hesitate to blame other people for her mistakes. She is also shown to give out extremely cruel punishments to those she deems 'traitors' and a threat to her legitimacy as Empress, such as cutting out their tongue and even ordering their execution (which was blocked by Sovieshu). She is known to have physically hurt the bird Sovieshu gifted to Navier so he could frame her, and even stabbed and killed an innocent bystander to escape after her manipulative nature and financial crimes are discovered.
Rashta's appearance is described as having an innocent 'angel-like' appearance, with dark eyes, long silver hair. She is described by Empress Navier's ladies-in-waiting as beautiful enough to be compared to the Duchess of Tuania, who has a reputation for being the most beautiful in high society.
