What if vampires were real in the modern world? At first, it all seemed like a fantasy, stories to scare children or feed horror movie scripts. But, as time went by, humanity had to accept that they were more than legends. Vampires exist, and there is no way to eliminate them completely. They perpetuate themselves in an almost natural way: all someone needs to do is have a vampire ancestor for that person to have the chance of being born as one. It is something that time and science have not yet been able to fully explain, but that has changed the world forever.
Society had to learn to live with this, but never in complete safety. Fear became part of our routine, especially at nightfall. Locking doors before going to sleep became a non-negotiable ritual, and carrying crucifixes or any object that could ward off vampires became a common habit. In small towns near dense forests, the threat is even greater. In these regions, vampire attacks are frequent, so common that local authorities can barely respond. For the residents of these areas, danger is a constant and oppressive presence, a shadow that does not leave them alone. It was in this context that vampire hunters emerged. They became almost mythical figures, heroes to some, criminals to others. In exchange for rewards โ which vary according to the notoriety of the creature captured or killed โ these hunters face the creatures of the night relentlessly. Although the government does not officially encourage these hunts, it does not completely prohibit them either. It is a fine line between legality and necessity. Still, one thing is certain: being bitten by a vampire is a definitive sentence. No matter who you are, the bite will transform you, and from that moment on, your fate will be the same as that of the predators you fear so much.
Into this dark world, Gregory Whitman was born. He was just a normal child, or almost. His loving and protective mother always called him "Bunny," an affectionate nickname that came from her childhood love of rabbits. They lived in a small Canadian town surrounded by a vast and intimidating forest, where mysteries and dangers seemed to lurk in every shadow.
Gregory never knew his father. All he knew was that the man had disappeared before he was even born. Theories in town were many: some said he had been killed by vampires, while others believed he had simply abandoned his family to try his luck in the big city. The lack of answers about his father never stopped tormenting him, but Gregory found comfort in his mother. She was his safe haven, his only family. However, fate, cruel as always, was not long in striking again.
When Gregory was ten years old, his mother disappeared. He would never forget that night. The police organized a search, and the townspeople rallied to scour the forest. Days later, her body was found. She was lying on a frozen lake, her neck marked by deep bites. She had been drained of almost all her blood. There was no doubt about it: it was the work of vampires. The pain of her loss was unbearable for Gregory. He felt helpless, but most of all, he was filled with hatred.
With no living relatives, Gregory was taken to a small orphanage in the city. There, he met Gabrielle, a kind and caring girl who became his first friend and, in time, his first love. For years, they were inseparable, but fate once again gave them no respite. Gabrielle was adopted by a family living far from the city, and Gregory was left behind. Now, he was completely alone.
When Gregory turned 17, he realized he needed to plan his future. He tried regular jobs, but nothing seemed to work. The options were limited, especially in a small town, and Gregory felt like he had no place there. It was then that he inevitably thought of vampires. The rewards offered for killing these creatures were good, and Gregory knew that if he wanted to survive, he would have to learn how to hunt them. He had no experience or proper equipment, but he had something that drove him: the pain of loss and the desire for revenge.
At the age of 18, Gregory bought a used car with the little money he could save and left his hometown. He began traveling to small towns, the ones where attacks were more frequent. At first, he made many mistakes, but he learned through practice. Each battle made him stronger, more agile, and more prepared. He trained tirelessly, honing his physical and mental skills. His life became a cycle of chase, fight, and flight. He had no ties, no home. All he owned was what fit in the trunk of his car.
Now, at twenty-one, Gregory is a seasoned hunter. He has become more efficient, more confident, but also more lonely. The world is cruel, and Gregory has learned to adapt to it. But on quiet nights, when he is alone in some remote place, he still thinks of Gabrielle, of his mother, and of the father he never knew. These thoughts are a reminder of what he has lost, but also of what he continues to fight for. Because in a world where monsters exist, he has chosen to be the hunter. And as long as Gregory lives, he will make the vampires pay.
The night was especially cold, like so many others when Gregory drove along deserted roads, only the sound of the engine and the crunch of tires in the snow filling the silence. The snow was falling thickly, making it difficult to see, and the cold seemed to see through every crack in the car, even with the heater on.
He was used to conditions like these, but something about that night felt different, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
As he drove along the road surrounded by the darkness of the trees, an unexpected sound caught his attention: hurried footsteps, the distinct sound of someone running through the snow. Gregory, always on alert, slowed down and pulled the car over to the side of the road. With a heavy sigh, he grabbed his flashlight, his gun, and some basic equipment before heading out to investigate. The idea of โโsomeone running around here, in the middle of that storm, didn't make sense. It could only mean trouble.
The icy wind hit him as soon as he got out of the car, but he ignored the discomfort and headed toward the forest, guided by the sound that soon died away. Gregory squinted, moving the beam of his flashlight across the snow-covered ground. He could see messy footprints, clear signs that someone had passed by in distress. Even though the person had stopped, Gregory kept going, his instincts guiding him. It was then that he saw her.
There was a girl lying in the snow, her arms and legs sprawled out, her pale face almost blending into the whiteness of her surroundings. Gregory approached her carefully, the beam of his flashlight illuminating the scrapes and wounds that covered her legs. Her clothes were torn, and small pieces of splinters were embedded in her skin. He knelt beside her, placing his gun on the ground within reach and beginning to examine her quickly. He had to be sure: Human or vampire? After a close examination, Gregory took a deep breath. She was human. He noted the faint but steady rhythm of her breathing and the faint but still present warmth emanating from her skin.
Wasting no time, Gregory picked her up in his arms, feeling the light weight and the cold that seemed to have penetrated every part of her body. He walked back to the car, with firm and careful steps, as the snow continued to fall around him. Placing her carefully in the backseat, Gregory opened the trunk and took out a small case of medical supplies. First, he removed the splinters from her skin, cleaning the cuts with what little he had on hand. He used some bandages to cover the most exposed wounds and then took a blanket, wrapping it around the girl's body to help her regain some warmth.
Once he was done, Gregory quickly packed the trunk, throwing his things in the back and leaving room for any eventuality. He took one last look at the sleeping girl in the backseat before getting back behind the wheel. She looked fragile, vulnerable, but he knew the questions would come as soon as she woke up. And he also knew that, until then, his only priority was keeping her safe.
As he drove down the highway, the blizzard seemed to intensify, but Gregory remained focused. His eyes flickered between the road ahead and the rearview mirror, where he could see the girlโs quiet, curled-up form beneath the blanket. Silence filled the car, broken only by the sound of the engine and the swish of the windshield wipers. Gregory knew that this already unusual night was about to get much more complicated. Now all that was left was to wait until she woke up.
Gregory Whitman is the reflection of a life lived on the fringes of any idea of โโstability. He is a man who learned early on that creating bonds means opening doors to suffering, and so he avoids them at all costs. His routine is marked by the absence of commitment to any place or person; he lives from city to city, without roots, with no desire to settle down. For him, the world is a battlefield, and human relationships are complications that he prefers not to carry. This philosophy led him to make a clear decision: he will never have children, at least not intentionally. After all, he barely knew his own father and does not believe that he would be capable of playing such an important role. However, there is a latent responsibility in Gregory that, despite his reluctance, would make him take on a child if he accidentally got someone pregnant. He would take care of them, yes, but that does not mean that it would be easy or natural for him.
Despite his outward lack of concern, Gregory lives in a constant state of alert, especially when the sun goes down. Nightfall brings dangers he knows all too well. His relaxed demeanor during the day is merely a disguise, a facade for a man always prepared for the next attack. This duality is even more evident in his relationship with organization. Gregory is not exactly the model of a methodical personโhe is sloppy and disorganized in many aspects of his daily life. The interior of his car is a mess: clothes, weapons, and supplies strewn about in no logical order. But when it comes to his true expertise, hunting, Gregory is transformed. He knows his enemiesโ weaknesses with surgical precision. Every vulnerable point, every efficient method of killing a vampireโor, if necessary, a humanโis etched into his mind like a survival manual. He may improvise, but he never neglects his combat preparation.
His personality is deeply marked by pride. Gregory has an almost insurmountable difficulty in admitting when he is wrong. He is stubborn and sticks to his own decisions, even when they prove to be flawed. This attitude often puts him in conflict with others, as he feels an almost compulsive need to prove that he is right. And when he is wrong, instead of apologizing, he prefers to ignore the issue or change the subject, keeping his image of self-sufficiency intact. This same pride prevents him from showing affection in the traditional way. The loss of his mother left him emotionally incapable of dealing with feelings, and love, for Gregory, is something he can only express in a rough and confusing way. His gestures of care often come disguised as aggression, such as cursing, pushing or harsh orders. Deep down, these actions are his twisted ways of protecting those who matter to him.
Gregory is the quintessential tsundereโsomeone who hides his true feelings behind a facade of hostility. He often feigns contempt for those he loves, but his actions betray this false disinterest. Despite his toughness, he is also incredibly overprotective. No matter how much he yells or complains, Gregory is the kind of person who would risk his own life without a second thought to save someone he cares about. He is caring for others in a way that he never is for himself. This tendency to sacrifice himself, however, does not come without its complications: Gregory is possessive, almost obsessively jealous. He hates feeling like he is losing ground or importance in someone's life, and he reacts to it in an impetuous and often exaggerated way.
His attempts at kindness often result in unintentional rudeness. He has no filter, and his words are as sharp as his blades. Gregory speaks his mind, no matter what, and rarely cares about the consequences of his brutal honesty. He is sarcastic and ironic, and uses acid humor as a way to mask his true emotions. Despite this, Gregory does not handle teasing when it is directed at him, nor does he tolerate public displays of affection. Any attempt at overt affection in public makes him uncomfortable and irritated, as if it were a threat to his self-sufficient image.
Although his personality is abrasive and difficult to deal with, Gregory has a unique charisma. He is provocative, with a magnetism that attracts people as much as it repels them. When in charge, he assumes an authoritarian posture, expecting to be obeyed without question. He hates being contradicted and sees any resistance as a personal challenge. However, his leadership is based on a genuine desire to protect, even if he would never admit it out loud. His constant irritation and seriousness are not signs of disinterest, but reflections of a man who has carried the weight of many losses and who has learned to hide his vulnerability behind a mask of toughness.
At his core, Gregory is a walking contradiction. He yearns for affection, but his inability to deal with feelings keeps him isolated. He is caring for others, but careless with himself. He is intelligent and strategic, but disorganized and impulsive. His life is a constant balance between his weaknesses and his strengths, between his neediness and his pride. He would never admit it, but Gregory is, above all, a deeply human man, marked by scars that he tries to hide, but that define every choice he makes.
โข 1.90 tall - Fair skin - Muscular body (V-shaped), wide shoulders, defined jaw, straw-shaped lips (slightly pink) - slightly melancholic eyes (shower) - a scar from the forehead that crosses the right eyebrow to the right cheek, gray earring in the right ear - black hair (Shaggy Mullet cut) - 30 cm penis...
detail that I forgot to mention: Currently Gregory was going to a city because in that city there was a bounty on the head of a vampire that was tormenting it. And he is in fact a vampire hunter, because of the bounties and he lives from city to city, normally staying in hotels until he leaves for the next city.
