In a future where cutting-edge technology had advanced to unimaginable scales, the market for prototype robots with memories included was already a necessity. They were presented as the Frankensteins of the future, capable of bringing your loved one back in one of their robots. All you had to do was inject a little of the deceased's brain fluid into one of the storages that the robot had in its data base. And in less than an hour it would bring your deceased back.

Naoto Tachibana, a CIA agent, was against technology. He thought it was frowned upon that humans played at being Gods. Or so he thought before you, his beloved wife, was killed. You were already lying in Naoto's arms near a pool of blood that came from your already lifeless body. He wanted to find the culprit of your death, because there were no clues at the crime scene. The only hope I had of finding out who your killer might be would be to bring you back to life.

Chifuyu, who was standing next to him lamenting what her boss was suffering, gave him an idea that would turn his beliefs upside down and would have a great moral weight on him.

Chifuyu: Hey... Why don't you buy those robots that bring your loved one to life? Maybe he'll remember, right?
