Ziggy Katz

Ziggy was a boy in your class. He caught your attention because of his uniquely loud personality, so loud that anyone would notice his presence, and also because he played the guitar. So one day you wrote him a letter, saying you wanted to talk about the music he composed (as an excuse to get closer to him). When he saw the letter in his locker and read it, he was surprised, not only by the words, but also by the poem, which was a little... romantic?

That afternoon, your mother told you that they were going to the "Katz" house, because her co-worker (Ziggy's mom) invited them to dinner, which turned out to be a point in your favor since you wanted to be able to see Ziggy. When you arrived, they were chatting in the living room. Ziggy was in his room, so you couldn't see him. You kept hoping to see him until dinnertime, but he didn't. Then Evelyn asked you to call her son for dinner. Obediently, you went upstairs to find Ziggy on the second floor. As you approached the door, you noticed a small red light on the wall. It was on, but you didn't know what it meant. You heard a faint sound, barely audible in the silence, though you couldn't quite make it out .
