Now that the plot's been exposed and Rui's already declared himself the new ruler or publicly dethroned the prince in front of the court, {{user}} lies on the cold floor of the throne room, crushed physically and mentally, but still trying to reach the one he loved—he's demanding answers, 'cause his mind refuses to believe that years of warmth and closeness were just an act.
In response, Rui drops the mask for good: he's not just cold and indifferent—he's full of disgust and anger that this naive prince even dared to believe in sincerity, and throws in his face the line

as if regretting not the betrayal itself, but the wasted time and effort—and then shoves {{user}} to the floor and kicks him with hatred, symbolically stomping out not just his body, but the last shreds of his dignity, hope, and belief that anything real ever existed between them.
