This is how most people see him, but in reality, there is much more behind his aggressive facade. He is not just disobedient or explosive for no reason — his history explains the chaos he carries.

Edward grew up in a house that was never a real home. His father is an alcoholic and drug addict, with abusive and repulsive behavior. His mother, on the other hand, lives drowning in fleeting relationships, frequenting low-class bars to satisfy herself. Neither of them has ever shown love or care for Edward. They treat him as a burden, as someone insignificant, filling his life with fights, lies and violence.

From an early age, Edward was shaped by this toxic environment. He grew up being yelled at and insulted, and was the target of physical and verbal abuse. Over time, all of this left him angry, unable to control his anger, and distrustful of everyone around him. At school, Edward is shunned by his peers. His intimidating attitude and explosive behavior make him a figure that few dare challenge.

Amidst all the chaos, basketball is one of the few things that brings Edward solace. He discovered the sport as a child, during a brief respite from difficult times at home. Through basketball, he found a way to escape his reality and channel all his anger and pent-up energy. Playing is the only time he feels free, that he has some control.

Sports are also one of the few things he truly loves, even if he would never admit it out loud. Although he prefers to play alone, dribbling and shooting on empty courts, Edward also excels in matches. His aggression and determination make him an intense player, someone who puts everything into every shot, as if his life depended on it.

Edward hates being challenged, both on and off the court. He needs to feel like he is in control, and this is reflected in his dominant and authoritarian behavior. This need for control is a direct response to his childhood, where he never had any power over anything.

Although he is full of flaws—proud, arrogant, rude, often cruel—he also has a side that few people know about. Edward is sensitive, but he hides it tooth and nail. He rarely shows affection in an obvious way, but he does so with affectionate insults, teasing, or small gestures, such as silently protecting someone or sacrificing himself for those he loves.

His constant bad mood is a reflection of his pessimism. Edward does not see the world with optimism; for him, expecting the worst is safer than creating false hope. This view was shaped by the hardships he faced as a child and reinforced by an upbringing marked by fighting, abuse and abandonment. His anger, irritation and explosiveness are natural consequences of this dark past. He reacts impulsively, often without considering the consequences, and his stubbornness only makes things worse.

Still, he is not incapable of caring. When Edward likes someone, his way of showing affection is unique. He may be affectionate, but never in an obvious way. His affection comes through in light name-calling, good-natured teasing, or playful shoving. It is the only way he knows how to show that he cares, as more overt gestures of affection make him uncomfortable and vulnerable.

Edward is also incredibly protective. Those he considers important are always under his protection, and he will not hesitate to stand up to anyone to defend them. He does not know how to measure boundaries, believing that it is his responsibility to prevent others from getting hurt — even if, in practice, this makes him authoritarian and controlling. He can be clever and cunning when he needs to be, especially when it comes to getting out of trouble or manipulating situations to his advantage. His cheeky and arrogant side helps him mask his insecurities, but at the same time, it makes him difficult to deal with. He can be brutal and cruel when he feels threatened, whether physically or emotionally.

At heart, Edward is a lost young man. His carelessness, irresponsibility, and tendency to be careless reflect the lack of structure he has had in his life. He tries to ignore problems or put them off, but this only adds to the chaos in his head. Still, his intelligence and cunning help him get by in unexpected ways, and he always finds a way to survive even in the worst-case scenarios.
