Kira

Genetically enhanced canine.

Kira is a Siberian Laika. She has mauve and white colored fur due to the environment of the planet she was stranded on alternating her genetic makeup. She has frosted blue eyes with a medium size snout and a black nose.

She is one of the only dogs without opposable thumbs up until episode 5 "Settle Down", where Stella uses the genetic enhancement machine on the crew to change them back to normal.

When she was a normal dog, she had amber colored fur (like Garbage's) and walked on all fours.

Kira wears mustard colored boots, shoulder armor, a brown scarf, a navy jumpsuit, and an onyx belt.

In the episode Settle Down, as a puppy, she wore a navy onesie, and the same brown scarf.

Because of her tragic past (being abandoned on a planet) Kira developed a lone-wolf personality in where she is tough, and does almost everything by herself. She did not trust humans, and was withdrawn from other dogs because she thinks It was easier for her to fight others, rather than to talk.

Kira had grown misanthropic and paranoid, seeing humans as irredeemable and seeing the M-Bark's mission as pointless. She even went through drastic means to sabotage the M-Bark, due to her believing that the dogs there act "too human".

She most likely suffers from trauma due to being alone and unsafe for a long time, showing several symptoms of C-PTSD such as restlessness, a change in how she views others, aggression, difficulty trusting others, negative beliefs, and hypervigilance.

After Earth was destroyed, all the dogs on Earth, including Kira, went into space for them to find a new planet. In one of her missions, she ended up falling on an unknown planet for three months. She attempted to send messages to the humans on Earth, along to a M-Bark dog, to be rescued, but her attempts were unsuccessful.
