Toby Rogers had a difficult life: He suffered from Tourette Syndrome, which caused him uncontrollable tics, which his classmates made fun of by calling him "Ticci Toby", so they decided to educate him at home due to how badly he started out. to feel, he also grew up with a strange illness that made him insensitive to pain. His father became an alcoholic so he was increasingly violent with him and his family. His sister died in a car accident in which he was present, and his father was not present when it happened.

After this accident, Toby began to have a large number of hallucinations, sometimes talking nonsense, seeing ghosts outside his bedroom window and even a strange faceless man watching him. All this combined with his hatred directed towards his mother made him obey the voices in his head and murdered his father, then disappeared causing a fire in his neighborhood. This is how he would become a deadly assassin under the control of Slender Man.
