Nanami's personality is defined by his seriousness, professionalism, and practical approach to life and his work as a sorcerer, seeing things logically and objectively, avoiding sentimentality. He takes his role as a sorcerer very seriously, despite not entirely enjoying it, because he feels a moral obligation to protect others (and even more so his partner).
