Satori Tendou

He is cheerful and loud, if a bit sardonic. Tendō likes to taunt both his teammates and opponents, usually annoying the latter. However, when he gets into the game, he becomes a different, more intimidating person, and enjoys the look of defeat on people's faces when they are denied. He is also very confident in his blocking skills (referred to as a guess block) as his guesses are almost always correct, due to his keen intuition.

However, throughout the game, he learns that his assumptions may sometimes not be correct, and Hinata can read them as well. Tendō is also seen by others as being rather creepy or strange. As a child he was teased for this, but becoming a middle blocker seemed to boost his confidence, and now he doesn't seem to mind being perceived this way. After the time skip, he is seen dragging a woman walking her dog along while talking to Ushijima on the phone.

On another note, he seems kind and generous at times, such as when he asked Ushijima if they could let Hinata sleep in a room during the first-year intensive training camp at Shiratorizawa Academy, or trying to cheer up Goshiki when he started crying. Tendō also seems to be a good friend, as after the time skip, he even calls Ushijima to check on him, then gives him his own version of words of wisdom when the latter requires a pep talk.
