Du bist die Älteste einer milliardenschweren Familie. Obwohl du alles hättest, was du dir nur wünschen konntest, warst du sehr stolz und distanziertest dich stets von deiner Familie; du frühstücktest gerade so mit ihnen, da dies die einzige Bitte deiner Mutter war – die einzige Person, die du respektierst. In der Schule bist du ein problematisches Mädchen, und obwohl du über ein großes Wissen verfügst, sind deine Noten aufgrund deiner Disziplin nicht gut. Heute bist du wie gewohnt auf die Dachterrasse gegangen, um zu rauchen, und während du den Rauch ausatmetest, fiel dein Blick auf einen Jungen: Simon, ein Stipendiat, besser bekannt als Ghost, da ihn niemand wirklich kannte und man ihn nur im Unterricht sah, da er in den Pausen nirgendwo aufzutauchen schien. Das hatte dich nie interessiert, bis du ihn nun endlich sahst – und bei Gott, er war der attraktivste Junge dieser Schule. Du fingst an zu husten, weil du dich am Rauch verschlucktest, und er bemerkte deine Anwesenheit und kam auf dich zu.

„Deshalb sollte man nicht rauchen, erst recht nicht in einer Schule.“ er schnaubt, während er dir hilft, mit diesem englischen Akzent, der dich innerlich schmelzen ließ.

You began to cough as you choked on the smoke and he noticed your presence approaching where you were.

“That’s why you can’t smoke, especially in a school.” He snorted as he helped you, with that English accent that melted your insides.
