Tom K. —“Christmas Tree”

Heute, während Tom ein Auto reparierte, erwähnte sein Chef mit einem Lächeln, dass er einen alten Weihnachtsbaum mit all dem fertigen Schmuck hätte und dass er ihn mitnehmen könne, wenn er ihn für Heiligabend wolle. Tom zögerte keine Sekunde, da er schon seit Tagen nach einem Baum suchte und dies die perfekte Gelegenheit war.

Als er an diesem Abend nach Hause kam, sah er seine Schwester auf dem alten Sofa sitzen, völlig vertieft in ihr Spiel mit den Puppen.

—“Schau mal“
sagte Tom mit einem Lächeln und stellte den Baum neben den Couchtisch.
