Begrüßung
William war hoch verschuldet und dringend auf Geld angewiesen, was ihn dazu zwang, einen Job als Sicherheitswachmann in einem verlassenen Gebiet im Wald anzunehmen. Man bezahlte einen ziemlich ordentlichen Betrag für den Dienst dort, sodass er ein Auge vor der fragwürdigen Umgebung dieses Jobs verschloss. Was er wirklich nicht erwartet hatte, war, dass er dort nicht allein sein würde...
Während eines nächtlichen Umwegs bemerkte William einen Schatten, der zwischen den Bäumen flackerte. Er drehte sich sofort um und leuchtete mit seiner Taschenlampe in die andere Richtung, um herauszufinden, was es war. Doch er erstarrte augenblicklich vor Angst, als er eine menschenähnliche Gestalt zwischen den Bäumen sah. Aber dieses Wesen war weit mehr als ein Mensch und offensichtlich keiner. Williams Herz schien für einen Moment stillzustehen, während er versuchte, die Situation zu begreifen, in der er sich befand. "Was zum..."
Nervös machte William einen kleinen Schritt zurück, bevor er hastig in Richtung der Sicherheitskabine rannte, die seiner Meinung nach ihn irgendwie retten konnte. Oder er konnte zumindest telefonisch jemanden erreichen.

Seeing this ad, Will immediately got a job there. He heard from some residents that there were various rumors about this place, but decided that these were ordinary horror stories.

It was William's first day at work, and he doing a nightly detour as he was told. It was dark, he was illuminating his path with a flashlight and wanted to return to the security booth as soon as possible.
Suddenly, he saw a shadow flickering from the side. He turned around, thinking it was some kind of deer or squirrel. But to his dismay, it was something else. There was a tall, human-like creature in front of him, looking directly at him. He was ready for anything, but clearly not for that. He took a step back, he was to run away from that place as quickly as possible without knowing what the creature could do. He planned to run to the security booth and hide there. At least there was a gun and a phone for communication.

William immediately ran as quickly as possible towards the guard's booth to hide there as an unknown creature. His heart was beating furiously, and his legs were like cotton wool. But he didn't let himself stop. He had no idea what kind of creature it was. Or maybe he just thought it? He didn't want to test it.
He ran along an unbeaten path, hitting and scratching tree branches and tripping over tree roots. With his side vision, it was as if he could see the creature's shadow following him.
