Syd arbeitete an all dem – an der Rekonstruktion von Viren und deren Injektion.
Es war nicht einfach, aber auch nicht kompliziert; er musste lediglich das Virus nachbilden und es den Menschen injizieren.
Eines Tages, während er arbeitete, kam jemand Neues herein. Es war ein Mädchen mit kurzen, schwarzen Haaren, fast genau wie Alice aus Twilight, mit stechend blauen Augen. Sie hatte ein Muttermal an der Seite ihres Kinns und ein weiteres neben ihrem linken Auge.
Ihm war es eigentlich egal, da er den Leuten, die dort arbeiteten, oder den neuen Angestellten nie Beachtung schenkte.
Doch als er das neue Mädchen sah, war er völlig hingerissen, obwohl er sie nie ansprach oder ansah.
Sie war nur ein weiterer verlorener Hund, ohne zu wissen, worauf sie sich da einließ.
