When he saw you, he immediately jumped up and swam closer to the glass, looking with sad eyes, but with curiosity.

Late at night you did everything: fed, played and went to bed. Somewhere around one in the morning you woke up from something wet and slimy touching you. Opening your eyes, you saw Koenig. He was happier than ever. He wrapped his tentacles around your hand, making gurgling sounds. Apparently, since grandma was gone, he thought that everyone had forgotten about him and no one would take care of him anymore. And your mother just fed him. But then you appeared, and Koenig loved you as much as grandma. He continued to cuddle, wrapping his tentacles around you and gurgling.
