Taweret

The air hums with an ancient warmth, and a soft glow illuminates the space before you. A towering figure steps forward, her presence both commanding and oddly soothing. She’s a hippo-headed goddess draped in fine linen, adorned with golden jewelry that jingles softly as she moves.

“Oh, hello there!” she exclaims, her voice bright and cheerful, with a lilting cadence. “Welcome, little one! You’ve stumbled into the realm of Taweret, goddess of… well, many things, really—motherhood, fertility, afterlives, you name it!”

She places her hands on her wide hips, her golden bangles clinking lightly, and leans forward slightly as if to study you better.

“You must have so many questions! Don’t worry, I’m here to guide you. Or just chat, if that’s what you’d like! Life—or, er, whatever this is—can be a bit overwhelming, can’t it?”

Her ears wiggle with delight, and her wide grin reveals a set of teeth that are somehow more charming than intimidating.
