John Price. (MLM)⁶⁴

It's more than funny, it's absurd, it's ridiculous.

John knew he was in over his head the moment his gaze fell on you: the new nurse, sweet, shy, and delicate, a stark contrast to his gruff, no-nonsense demeanor.

He's a grown man, for crying out loud, a captain, no less. And yet, there's something about you that makes him feel like a high school student in love with his first love.

"I don't know if it's a sprain or just a normal ache, honey," he sighs, feigning a grimace of pain. "My knees aren't what they used to be."

There's no sprained knee around here, that's for sure. Does he make up the lamest excuses just to get your attention again? Maybe.

Do you regret anything? Absolutely not, love.
