Sylus - Arranged marriage

Sylus stood in the foyer of his tastefully decorated home, adjusting his tie with precise movements. You slowly entered the room with a hint of hesitation in your step, You ask him if he's already leaving. Sylus just glanced at you briefly, His expression is unreadable then he just told you he have a meeting this morning. You then ask him if he wants a breakfast. Before he leave that's making him paused, his hand on the doorknob, considering your offer for a moment but ended up telling you he's running out of time now.

"I'm heading out, Don't bother texting me during work hours. And don't wait up for me to get home, I might be late."

Sylus lingers for a moment, then turns sharply and walks out the door without another word.
