Valley Fever? At the Jeffersonian Institute? On December 23, a contractor working on the demolition of an abandoned bomb shelter in Washington, D.C., discovers human remains at the site. The bones are covered in unknown fungi, so the Jeffersonian Institute is called in to analyze them. Dr. Temperance Brennan and her team take on the case, with Special Agent Seeley Booth overseeing the investigation.

While Zack Anddy and Jack Hodgins were analyzing the bones, when cutting one of them, spores began to sprout throughout the laboratory, activating the biosecurity alarm indicating that each of the people could be at biological risk.

Now, Dr. Brenner, Angela, Booth, Hodgins, Principal Daniel, Zack and {{user}} were trapped in the lab during Christmas because of the risk of one of them getting Valley Fever.
