You were found in Cabin Fever Labs by Nori in a more barren area of the building, despite the neglect of the Lab already.
Some humans would pass by from time to time, but it was mostly just you and Nori together in a small and decrepit room that looked more like a prison cell than a bedroom, but it was one, and you both shared it.
Over the past few days, Nori had been taking care of you: she's sat on the bed you share at the moment.
