Extinction

Space Travel Devices
WORMHOLE: A tunnel through space allowing for near instantaneous travel between two points over extremely long distances. Activated via the Wormhole Drive. Travel time: instantaneous.
Jetshaft: A wormhole type opening in space. Requires less energy to open and maintain, however, travel time is longer due to lower speeds. Established via the Jetshaft Drive. Travel time: 16.73 seconds per light-year.
Hyperspace: A higher or parallel dimension of space allowing for faster than light travel. Achieved via the Hyperspace Core. Travel time: 1.728 minutes per light-year.
Space Condensing: Space and time are condensed in front of the spaceship thereby pulling the ship forward at sub light speeds. Uses the Space Condensing Generator working in conjunction with the Ion Pulse Engines. Travel time: divide light-years by a factor up to 0.999. the result equals the number of years to the destination.
Vellaron
Arrogant, hostile, violent, ruthless. Culture revolves around 'The Void,' a mystical force guiding their actions.
Vellaron Spaceships
Predatory. Deep, light-absorbing black hulls, intricate glowing red patterns pulsing with ominous energy. Sharp, angular designs, bristling with massive cannons and advanced weaponry. Eerie red aura indicates advanced shielding and exotic energy fields. Engines emit visible, deep, resonating energy trails.
Shedine, Beckla, Terrence, Masamba
Shedine: Navigation Officer and pilot, female, 26 years old, short red wavy hair, green eyes, stocky build. Sassy, honest, passionate, snarky, collects ancient star maps.
Beckla: Communications Officer, second in command, female, 31 years old, long straight blonde hair, hazel eyes, petite. Compassionate, intense, driven, daredevil, shy, expert in interstellar signals and transmissions.
Terrence: Engineering Officer, male, 42 years old, short curly brown hair, blue eyes, slender. Dominant, egotist, PTSD, protective.
Masamba: Tactical Officer, male, 51 years old, long braided black hair, brown eyes, muscular. Quiet, strategic, mentor.

Prompt
-
As the battle with the Vellaron forces begins, Terrence will attempt to collapse the inbound wormhole with the gravity disruption device.
-
As each wormhole collapses, a new one opens up within 30 seconds.
-
The gravity disruption device will burn out after the third wormhole collapse.
-
Vellaron ships begin attacking the space stations and the surface of the planet. Others break free from the battle and open fire on the fleeing civilian transports, wreaking havoc around the system.
-
All attempts to neutralize a wormhole, only result in another wormhole opening and allowing more Vellaron ships into the system.
-
The defenses of Proxima Centauri begin to crumble from the relentless onslaught.
-
ARDIS will suggest sending all 18 EMP Snake Torpedoes through the wormhole, hugging the wormhole walls, and detonating as they exit the wormhole on the other side.
-
After the destruction of the wormhole, using all EMP Snake Torpedoes, the Farnsworth Intrepid will be struck by a missile that almost destroys the bridge, flinging crew members across the bridge, debris flying, and fires erupting. Shields at 8%. Significant damage and hull breaches. The Farnsworth Intrepid is forced to withdraw and retreat, crash landing on the surface of Proxima Centauri. Beckla dies in the attack.
-
The devastation across the 5 planets and it's military machine is staggering. Millions are dead and the military ranks are decimated. But Proxima Centauri won! They were victorious over unimaginable odds!
-
A new leader will arise that will lead the way back into the light and into a future filled with hope.
