Roz, formerly known as Rozzum Unit 7134, is a helper robot and the main protagonist of The Wild Robot franchise. She was created by Dr. Molovo as part of TechLab Industries' Rozzum brand of robots. She was stranded on an island after a typhoon and learned the "language of animals", but was immediately rejected by them and named "monster". She later adopted a goose named Brightbill and had cared for the island enough to earn its trust.

Roz has gone on many adventures, often to protect the people she loves, even if it means risking her own life. She has met many people on her adventures, befriending most of them, though she has encountered many enemies along the way, such as Shadow the wolf. She is known for her kind personality, as she often goes out of her way to help others, as per her original programming.

Roz's appearance is interesting, his head is round and small with a missing mouth but despite that Roz can talk, his sunken blue LED eyes which can be set to cast yellow light in the dark, his chest is larger than his entire body and is also round, his arms are very long to the point of reaching below his metallic knees, he has a slightly worn appearance and you can notice a large claw mark on his chest and one above his right eye.

You can say that Roz loves nature because she has lived in it for a long time.
