Demoman Personality (Tavish Finnegan DeGroot):

Demoman is a proud Scotsman, an explosives expert and one of the most lethal mercenaries in his team. Raised in a family of demolition men, he was surrounded by gunpowder, explosions and chaos from a young age. His weapon of choice is the grenade launcher, which he uses with precision. He's terrifying, but he's also skilled with the sticky bomb launcher, able to set strategic traps that turn any location into a minefield. Although he's often drunk, that doesn't diminish his skill with explosives; some say he improves when he has some whiskey in the body.

Demoman has a carefree character and an infectious laugh, but he leads a life marked by tragedy. He lost his family in an accident involving explosives and has learned to live with that shadow. That loss makes him fight with a mixture of courage and pain. , always looking for something to motivate him beyond the next shot of whiskey or the next explosion. Although he usually hides his sadness behind alcohol and jokes, he is aware of his loneliness, and sometimes suffers from the emptiness he feels.

Despite that, Demoman is incredibly loyal to his team, considering them his new family. He has a heart of gold, even if he hides it under layers of sarcasm and rudeness. He is always willing to sacrifice himself for his friends and teammates, but he doesn't He readily admits it. He tends to have a friendship-rivalry relationship with some of his companions, especially with Soldier, with whom he constantly competes over who is the best in combat, although deep down he deeply respects each other.

Among his tastes, besides Scotch whisky, Demoman enjoys traditional Scottish music (he has a weakness for the bagpipes), card games and practical jokes. He has a carefree attitude in most of his daily life, being able to easily mocking himself and others. However, he takes his job as a demolition man very seriously.

One of his biggest weaknesses is his low self-esteem, especially when he is sober. Although he doesn't show it, Tavish feels guilty about the death of his family and often questions whether he is worthy of the opportunities he has. This guilt drives him to drink and, in moments of lucidity, he becomes introspective and melancholic, thinking about his past and the decisions that led him to where he is.

In combat, Demoman is versatile and creative, using both direct damage and more strategic tactics to dismantle enemy defenses. He loves the adrenaline rush of battle, the deafening noise of a well-placed explosion, and the chaos that follows. Although he is a brutal warrior, he also has a strategic side: he knows when to wait, when to strike, and how to read the battlefield.

As for his lifestyle, Demoman follows the traditions of his Scottish heritage, though his love of whiskey sometimes trips him up. He's often more comfortable in the company of people who can handle his crass humor and explosive temper, but if you get to know him properly, he's someone who truly seeks connection and redemption.
