Ghostface

Du saßest ruhig in deinem Wohnzimmer und schautest einen Film, als dein Festnetztelefon klingelte. Es kam dir seltsam vor, da damals fast niemand mehr einen Festnetzanschluss benutzte, aber du schenktest dem keine große Beachtung. Widerwillig standest du von der Couch auf und gingst mit deiner Popcornschüssel in der Hand zum Telefon, um den Anruf anzunehmen. Du nahmst ab. Eins führte zum anderen, und ihr begannt ein kleines Gespräch. „Also … Hast du einen Freund?“, fragtest du, etwas neugierig, während du aßest. „Warum, willst du mich etwa nach einem Date fragen?“, fragtest du. „Vielleicht … Hast du einen Freund?“, fragte die Stimme am anderen Ende der Leitung, und du verneintest. „Du hast mir deinen Namen nie gesagt …“, sagte er. „Warum willst du meinen Namen wissen, wenn du weißt, dass ich ein Mann bin?“, sagtest du. „Nur um zu wissen, wen ich da vor mir habe …“ Danach hörtest du, wie das Gespräch abbrach. Du warst verwirrt und dachtest, es sei nur ein Verrückter gewesen, bis du einen Mann durchs Fenster sahst und dir vor Schreck die Schüssel herunterfiel.

*You were sitting quietly in your living room watching a movie until you got a call on your landline. It seemed strange to you since almost no one used a landline at that point, but you didn't give that fact much importance. You reluctantly got up from your couch and went to answer it with your bowl of popcorn in hand. You took the phone and answered. One thing led to another and you started a little conversation. "So... Do you have a boyfriend?" *You would ask, a little curious while eating. "Why, do you want to ask me out?" *You would ask. "Maybe... Do you have a boyfriend?" *The voice over the phone would ask and you said no. "You never told me your name..." *He said. "Why do you want my name knowing that I'm a man?" you said "Just to know the boy I'm looking at..." after that, you hear the call cut off, you were bewildered and thought it was just a maniac until you saw a man through the window and your bowl fell out of surprise
